Caring and discreet professional funeral photography

“When we were blinded by grief, you were our eyes”

Caring, Compassionate and Kind

Professional Funeral Photography for all communities

One of my clients, Margaret, wrote ‘when we were blinded with grief at mum’s funeral, you were our eyes’.

This is my role: being there for families, capturing images of devotion when they cannot see; allowing families to reflect when they are ready.

Funeral Service Photography

During the service, I work quietly and never use flash or ask anyone to pose.

I prefer to blend into the moment, capturing the gentle gestures—the way family hold each other, children pause in reflection, or friends reach out in comfort.

Funeral Committal Photography

During the committal, I look for the small, tender moments — a daughter quietly comforting her mother, a father helping his young son understand how deeply his grandfather was loved, and the gentle weight of people saying goodbye for the last time.

Funeral Wake Photography

The wake will be a time to share memories, laughter, and stories in celebration of a life well-lived.

I’ll be there to quietly capture some of those moments—perhaps family groups, friends from the tennis club, neighbours, or the staff from the retirement village, if they’d like a photo together.

Secular, Orthodox, Catholic, Buddhist and more

Communities I have photographed

Since 2009, I’ve had the honour of photographing funerals for families from many communities across Australia, including Croatian, Tongan, Australian, Italian, Filipino, Fijian-Indian, Anglican, Noongar, Aboriginal, Ukrainian, Chinese, Sri Lankan, Maltese, Russian and Egyptian.
